Wooden Ball Track and tower provide exciting family fun
The Hoch-Imst hiking area (Austria) is a highlight of the Oberinntal region on the edge of the Lechtal Alps. It is a great place to start your hiking day with an ascent in one of the ultra-modern 10-passenger panoramic gondolas. Nature lovers, sports enthusiasts and families will find a wide range of activities here to delight everyone.
Two of the latest highlights - a long and varied Wooden Ball Track and an exciting Wooden Ball Track tower - which have been delighting all visitors at the middle station since the start of the 2024 summer season, are from Sunkid. These attractions are primarily aimed at young guests and enrich the tourist offer of the Imst mountain cableway.
The Imst mountain cableways advertise their new Wooden Ball Track - with a total length of 85 meters - as "one of the longest in Tyrol". The route has a varied design and includes various stations that provide additional fun. Highlights include labyrinths (which challenge children's dexterity), cowbells (which enhance the acoustic experience), funnels (which provide a visual spectacle) and obstacles (which keep the path of the balls exciting). The various stations create a high fun factor that invites children to chase their balls from start to finish. The wooden balls with customer logos can be purchased for two euros from the vending machine at the middle station and taken home as a souvenir.
The experience for children and adults is rounded off by the nearby wooden ball track tower. While parents enjoy a snack at the Untermarkter Alm, their children can let the balls roll off the tower. Various tracks, loops, mini climbing wall, ball and sand elevator provide variety and unlimited opportunities for playing and romping around. Thanks to its compact design, the tower is the perfect addition to this (and any other) playground.
