Schmittenhöhe / Zell am See (AUT): The new Kinderland built by Sunkid at the Areitbahn offers beginners perfect conditions in a sunny location

The area between the piste and the gondola lift above the Areitbahn I top station, which had previously been left fallow, was put to a good use at the start of the last winter season. There is now a children's area for the ski area's little ones. Although the area lies in the middle of the mountain, only a few terrain corrections were necessary to achieve an ideal gradient.

Now, an almost 70-meter-long Moving Carpet with gallery - also known as Schmidolin's Dragon Tunnel - transports the little passengers to the start of the Kinderland. There, the children can then choose from various downhill options. Over the waves, through the goal bar slalom or between the figures made of solid foam: everyone finds the right "slope".
