Hochoetz started operation with two new Sunkid Moving Carpets
"In addition to a varied mix of slopes for all skill levels, it is also important to us to offer the right lifts for the first steps in the snow [...] for families and beginners to skiing and snowboarding," says Michaela Burger, Managing Director of the Hochoetz ski region, in an interview with seilbahn.net.
With the 15-meter-long "WIDI-Band" and 51-meter-long "Ötzi-Band", two new Sunkid Moving Carpets will be available for all beginner skiers in the 23/24 season. In addition to the existing facilities, which are used for ski school lessons, these are available to all guests. Skiers and snowboarders as well as fans of other sliding and tobogganing activities can enjoy the WIDI conveyor belt.
Both new Sunkid installations are from the latest TYPE N conveyor belt generation, including innovative i-CONTROL electronics, and are covered by an Evolus gallery. Two slide-up emergency exits are installed at the side, which blend in perfectly with the rest of the roofing - robustly designed and easy to open at any time.
For an easy start to operations in the morning: to prevent the ingress of wind-blown snow, the gallery entrance and exit can be closed in a few simple steps with self-retracting PVC tarpaulins.
