Sunkid was able to implement various projects to get local residents more interested in winter sports in the winter season of 2021/22 as well. Two of these projects, operated under Sunkid’s “Winter in the Village” initiative, were implemented in the Piesendorf and Fusch municipalities in Salzburg.
One new Comfort Starsmall ski lift was installed in each of the two municipalities. The Sunkid Comfort Star with its rotating platter on a steel cable is suitable for various slopes and can be used by skiers and snowboarders of any size. The platter can be held between the legs, gripped by the holding grip at the bracket’s sides, or used as a bracket anchor in the back.
It is very easy to get on the Sunkid Comfort Starsmall ski lift without alift operator’s help. Guests from all age groups merely need to grab the bracket as it passes them at low speed to clamp it between their legs. Getting off is just as easy: let go of the bracket, and it will slip out from between your legson its own.
Winter in Piesendorf
The sunny ErlebnisbergNaglköpfl hill in Piesendorf sees busy activity from 9 AM to 4 PM every day. The family hill is particularly popular with Piesendorf’s younger population in the afternoons, after day care and school hours. The various lift facilities that can be used for various winter sports ensure exciting and diverse activities in the fresh air. The new Sunkid Comfort Starrope lift ensures an easy and comfortable climb for all skiers and snowboarders. Other sports offered in Piesendorf are minibob, trampoline, tobogganing and snow tubing.
Winter in Fusch
The practicelift is placed at the very town centre of the Fusch municipality, where the elementary school and day-care centre are directly adjacent to the practice area. It is hardly surprising that physical education often takes place outdoors in winter. The new Sunkid Comfort Starsmall ski lift serves as the optimal climbing aid to turn the terrain into an ideal training area for skiing beginners. The children’s parents value the lift’s proximity to the village as welland enjoy spending the afternoonskiing or tobogganing with their children on the practicehill. Fusch, just like Piesendorf, offers an opportunity to learn skiing and snowboarding outside of the large ski areas of the Hohe Tauern, calmly and without any rush.
