Innovative Sunkid attraction delights summer guests in Szczyrk

The SKRZYCZNE Ski Resort COS, located on the Beskid Śląski mountain range, welcomes many tourists from neighboring countries to the south, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as domestic guests from the Silesia and Lesser Poland regions.

In summer 2024, the latest action-packed summer attraction for young and old was installed as part of a lift expansion project (T-bar and chairlift) by the Leitner company: the first Sunkid Mountain Coaster in Poland - the second Mountain Coaster 2.0 to be put into operation worldwide.

As the route of the summer toboggan run is largely located on the ski slope and this should be usable without restriction in winter, the operating company COS opted for the Sunkid concept: The modular monorail system, which has proven itself over many years, enables quick and easy assembly and disassembly - with minimal impact on nature and the landscape.

The new Mountain Coaster with a downhill run of around 600 meters, 13 curves, a wave segment and a speed measurement system was completely planned, produced and built on site by Sunkid. The self-contained track enables the use of the existing drag lift (by means of a simple one-latch system) for uphill toboggan transportation (~ 400 m). 
After successful acceptance by the responsible Polish authority TDT and ceremonial commissioning, we would like to thank our customer for the trust they have placed in us.
