Adventure park Steinau: "The wood ball tower is a complete success!"
Roofed-over and yet outdoors - that is how the wood ball tower presents itself in the adventure park Steinau (GER) as a perfect, weather-independent attraction on very little space
The adventure park Steinau is a free-time park near Fulda (30 km) in the middle of green nature with animals, barbecue opportunities and mostly interactive playing options that promote and challenge the imaginative and socially competent interaction between children.
A Sunkid wood ball tower was installed to perfectly supplement this offer.
It is placed outdoors, but under a roof, making sure that neither rain nor intense sunshine can impair playing fun.
"The tower is a complete success – the device is used at a high capacity and spreads plenty of fun and amazement; within a few weeks, we sold in excess of 1000 balls," operator Theo Zwermann happily summarises the initial results.
The (grand-)parents can enjoy the wood ball tower, too. "Once, marbles were 'The Game'. Now, the parents love that this kind of playing fun is celebrating its comeback, or its arrival in the adventure parks. When there are many people around, some visitors even "arm" themselves with pens to write their children's names onto the balls to make sure there are no mess-ups," Theo Zwermann reports his observations with a smile.
