"First craftsman snow park" implemented with Sunkid
"Small but mighty!" is the motto of the Ski Lift Pichl, a family-friendly ski slope that is known beyond the borders of the Gsieser Valley (South Tyrol, Italy). In addition to a children's slope for ski and snowboard beginners and a 750-metre-long family slope, youngsters can even watch the current World Cup stars practising their technique on a new black FIS race slope.
Under the motto "Combining sport and craftsmanship", the small ski area has been offering another highlight for the snow sports enthusiasts of tomorrow since last season - one that is as action-packed as it is educational: the first "craftsmen's snowpark" in South Tyrol. A fun ski slope, fully equipped with individually comic-designed craftsmen figures and equipment from the Sunkid Sunny Stuff portfolio.
The course was realized by local craft businesses as part of the image campaign "Generation H - Lust auf Südtiroler Handwerk" and the Ski Lift Pichl together with Sunkid. "If you come into contact with different trades as a child, this can make it much easier to choose a career later on," emphasized Paul Ladstätter, President of Ski Lift Pichl, at the opening. Local ski instructors, who often work in a trade themselves, can now explain details about the various professions to their pupils at intermediate stops on the course.
The start of the undulating course with its steep bends and tunnels is marked by an M entrance arch in the "Craftsman Snow Park" look. The Sunkid figures that then follow encourage you to slalom, high-five or box your way and show, for example, carpenters, bricklayers, chimney sweeps, plumbers, media designers, automotive mechatronics engineers or confectioners. The respective basic shapes come from the Sunkid product families Monster Figures, Snow Animals, Traffic Signs and Play Options, among others, and were all designed and produced completely individually for the Ski Lift Pichl.
The positive feedback from 130 craftsmen present at the opening and the great response from children and families proves once again how multifunctional the "Sunny Stuff" program can be and how effective it can be. This ranges from signposting in the ski area, to child-friendly interactive skiing fun, to image transport and knowledge transfer.
Many thanks to our customers for the trust they have placed in us: It was great fun to be involved in such an interesting project right from the start.
